Mountain Home RV Resort – Idaho

Written by Jim & Korin

Welcome to our website and thanks for listening to our story. Join us on our journey as we venture into retirement and living full time in our RV traveling the country. We'll tell you how, what and why we are doing this and how you can too.

This is our second time visiting Mountain Home RV Park, the first time was just an overnight and our impression was a clean and big rig friendly.   Our second time here in we stayed for 2 weeks and were quite amazed at the quality of this RV park.

The staff is very friendly and accomidating, the spaces are level with concrete pads, wide enough not to be on top of your neighbors and quiet.  It’s located just minutes off of the I84 Freeway, yet far enough that you don’t hear much if not any freeway noise.   The park is set back from the main road and has a beautifully landscaped entrance.

As you pull in there are staging stops in front of the main office, we were quickly greeted by someone on a golf cart who led us to our spot.   The main office has some RV accessories for sale as well as a mail room of sorts where you can receive mail and packages.   The park can accommodate just about any size rig and toad/trailer.    Most if not all spots have room for two cars and come with a round picnic table.    Each spot has full hook-ups and 30/50 amp electric as well as cable tv and WiFi.
